Jessica has more than 8 years’ experience in biomedical research. Prior to joining Ysios, Jessica worked at the Institute for Research in Biomedicine Barcelona where she studied stress-activated kinases during the progression of lung cancer. Additionally, she has done research on hematopoietic stem cell features at IMIM – Hospital del Mar, on muscle physiology and degeneration at Osnabrueck University, and on diagnostic methods for osteoarticular disorders at University of Oviedo.
Jessica holds a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Oviedo, and a master’s degree as well as a PhD in Biomedicine from the University of Barcelona. She has also participated in entrepreneurship training sessions at ESADE law and business school.
