Josep ("Joe") Sanfeliu focuses especially on crafting and closing transactions, valuations and licensing deals, reviewing intellectual and industrial property and full due diligence materials.
Josep's special professional focus is on financial assessment, mergers and acquisitions, entrepreneurship advice and intellectual property. Josep acquired his expertise in professional firms of recognised prestige, starting at Cuatrecasas Abogados as advisor in both mergers and acquisitions and venture capital, as well as in the intellectual property area. He later joined KPMG and Eurohold Corporate Finance with special focus on venture capital in the innovation space.
For the last 5 years, Josep has been working in the healthcare industry from the perspectives of both the pharmaceutical and healthcare services, beginning as Corporate Finance Business Development Manager at Almirall. At Almirall he dealt with licensing, mergers and acquisitions and venture capital throughout Europe and the US. His most recent position was at SARDomus (Grupo SAR) as CEO of the healthcare management services division with more than 300 healthcare professionals.
Josep holds a law degree from Universitat Pompeu Fabra of Barcelona, a Master of Law degree specialised in intellectual property and international business transactions from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor in the US and an MBA (Global Executive MBA) from IESE, Universidad de Navarra.
